Shala River journey is a great boat trip. The tour to Shala River is a special boat tour program exclusively designed to offer participants the best combination of pristine wild nature, unforgettable boat ride through the heart of the Albanian Alps, local folklore and traditions. During the tour you will be able to visit one of the attractions of Northern Albania, combining a variety of exciting outdoor activities with plenty of time to get acquainted with the local gastronomy and culture.
On the day boat tour we get on a boat that will take us through Komani Lake to Shala River offering spectacular views of the Albanian Alps, waterfalls, rural villages and wild forests. It is considered by many as an exotic experience combined with the unmatched hospitality of the locals.
Tour price is 20 Euro/person for all reservation paid via PayPal (with paypal account or card). Price for cash payments is 25 Euro/person.

Departure from Komani at 10:00am and arrival at Shala River at 11:30am gives us about 3 hours to enjoy the fresh air, to swim, explore the area around and not to forget to capture as many unforgettable memories.
The return schedule will be every day at 14:00 and arrival at Koman at 15:30.

For childrens under 5 years, the tour is free of charge.
Sometimes the water level on the river is low and the boat can not go all the way to the end of the river, this means you might have to walk to the end of the lake. This is not something we can control or inform you about in advance as it can change within hours.
This year we are also offering pick from Shkoder with mini vans.

In our hostel you can enjoy a delicious traditional lunch and you will taste the best home made food. Most of the products we consume are produced by us; bread, vegetables, yogurt, cheese, honey, meat, raki…etc. are local products.
If you come to visit us you can taste our lamb pot roast, fish of the lake, greek salad, byrek, bean soup, bread of corn. Definitively you’ll loved our cuisine.
If you cancel, 3 days before the chosen date of the Tour, you get refunded.
